Since 1982┬áteams of volunteers have been meeting in our church’s commercial-style kitchen to produce delicious high quality puddings for Christmas.

1200 puddings were produced in 2015, with the funds raised from their sale helping to support our community projects. Pudding making begins around the middle of each year and continues through until late September, early October. The puddings, using all fresh ingredients, are wrapped in cloths, boiled and then hung, the traditional way. Then they are kept in a purpose built walk-in fridge until sale.

Puddings can be purchased from our church on Tuesday to Friday mornings (9am – 12 noon) from November through to Christmas Eve (or until they run out).

As well as hugely enjoyable for your own family Christmas and Boxing Day meals, they also make great gifts!

Pudding sizes and prices are:

1.5 kg ‘cannon ball’ @ $35. This is the ‘large family size’, giving up to 15 serves. Also great for ‘seconds please’ or Boxing Day.

1.0 kg ‘bowling ball’ or Log @ $25. For slightly smaller families, giving up to 10 serves.

500g ‘cricket ball’ @ $15. Up to five serves. These are great for singles or couples, or gifts for the teacher or ‘nan’ or ‘pa’.

Like to be in the kitchen, want to meet some new people and help make a difference to your community?
